Long Valley Trail Association (LVTA)is a community group of riders and horse owners dedicated to the establishment and maintenance of a network of bridle trails and multipurpose trails throughout Washington Township and the surrounding areas in Morris County, New Jersey.
We seek to unite land owners, horse owners, and the local community to work toward our mutual goals of maintaining open space and land preservation. More>>

Hunting Season! Hunting season opens Sept 8, 2018! Please wear blaze orange on you and your horse at all times while on the trail during hunting season. Try and ride between 10 am and 3 pm and avoid Saturdays if possible on private lands and areas allowing hunting. Be aware and be safe! Bow Hunting- Sept 8-Feb 16 Sundays too! Youth Bow- Sept 22 Youth Firearm- Nov 17 Muzzle Loader & Shotgun- Nov 19-Feb 9 Firearm Season- Dec 3-8 Semi-Wild- Anything posted semi-wild can be hunted 7 days a week For full Zone 7 Regs>>
